The Dromex® DHCT-ABEK1 UNIFIT gas cartridges are designed to be used with Dromex® twin cartridge respirators for effective protection against a range of harmful gases and vapours. This pack contains two lightweight combination cartridges that filter out certain organic gases and vapours with a boiling point higher than 65°C. They also protect against inorganic gases like chlorine, acid gases such as sulphur dioxide and hydrogen chloride, as well as ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives. These cartridges can also be used with Dromex® Pre-filters to provide additional protection against particulates and extend the life of the gas filter. This is especially useful when working in greasy environments where oil may be present.
